Welcome! Kent Place Summer Camp is a coeducational, state-licensed, day camp program for boys and girls, ages 3 through 15 years old, providing fun, enrichment and opportunities for physical and social development in a safe, non-competitive atmosphere.

At the Kent Place Summer Camp, our beautiful 26-acre campus offers regulation artificial turf playing fields, playgrounds, a modern field house, five tennis courts, air-conditioned dining hall and classrooms, state-of-the-art computer labs and an arts center. Campers are well supervised by a qualified and caring staff of program directors, teachers and experienced counselors.

    Speciality Camps:

    Creative Arts Workshop

The Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) offers students an opportunity to unleash their creativity, energy and imagination and explore a variety of media each day. Students participate daily in four areas of interest and a camp-wide activity period. The Activity Period (do not include in your selections) encompasses crafts, community service projects and a variety of indoor and outdoor games to provide fun, exercise and socialization. CAW teachers are artists and professionals chosen for their expertise and ability to spark creativity within their students. Special events, such as camp picnics, are held throughout the summer. Theater performances and art shows will be on July 17 and August 7.

    Passport Program

Passport campers enjoy the best of many different camp worlds! Campers will have an opportunity to participate in traditional day camp activities and an array of Creative Arts classes. Multiple field trips, community service projects, leadership opportunities with younger campers and special events days add to the complete camp experience.

Our Counselor-in-Training program will help participants develop lifelong skills, identify and achieve individual goals and build skills to lead children. CITs will work and train under the current counselors in charge. Participants will learn first aid, CPR, group and time management and a variety of program skills through first-hand experience with campers of different ages. CITs will also learn how to create their own resume and participate in a mock job interview experience.
