At Keala Foundation, our Teen Initiative Adventure program is designed to provide impactful experiences that allow children to explore their personal potential while becoming capable and confident members of the world.
Our Program offers teenagers between the ages of 13-18 who are looking for an experience of a lifetime, to serve and learn about a culturally driven community.
Get excited, it's time for a wonderful Kauai adventure with your fellow teens!
During these 2 weeks on Kauai, you will adventure across all parts of the island, have fun cultural experiences and give back to the people and the land through community service projects with the local nonprofit 501 (c)3 Keala Foundation. Each child will receive 40 hours of community service for their participation in our programs during their camp experience.
Your Adventure Begins With…
- Constructive learned skills: fitness, construction, conservation studies, water safety, and/or CPR certification.
- Build and restore program sites as well as learn cultural activities at Lo`i farms to harvest taro root
- Assist leaders and trainers with daily classes teaching the Keala CrossFit programs at one of our four gym locations.
- Island excursions will be scheduled throughout the two weeks. May include Snorkeling, Hiking, Fishing, Biking, Boating, and Surfing.
- Overnight camping trip somewhere around the island and learn how to prepare traditional Hawaiian meals.
It takes a community to raise one keiki and with everyone’s support, we have the opportunity to make an impact, by creating connections for youth all over the country. ~ Keala Foundation
