Don't spend your summer in a dance studio!
Interact with the groove, the jams, the parties, the battles, the clubs, the CULTURE! As well as develop a strong foundational acumen. At the end of your 9 weeks you get to perform with professional repertory company, Theatre of the Mind!
COURSES
The H+ | SOUL SCIENCE® Summer Intensive is designed to enable dancers of varying levels to develop basic to advanced knowledge and skills in Hip-Hop Dance through training in The BLADE Dance Technique® to develop choreographic skill, aesthetic awareness, and performance quality within a cultural, historical and practical context.
The intensive will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Training in all six foundational elements (Popping, Locking, Boogaloo, Rocking, Breaking, Party Dance)
- Work outs that will get you your summer body!
- Train and be featured in a dance video!
- Dance Academics
- Dance Photography and Cinematography Classes
- NYC Outings (jams, parties, excursions, day trips etc.)
- A chance to perform with H+ | TOTEM® {Theatre Of ThE Mind} in the Summer Exhibition (Featured at nationally at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Museum, The Pierre Hotel, and internationally!)
