NYLF Advanced Medicine & Health Care will expose you to a broad range of educational pathways and accompanying careers in health care, providing you with a critical advantage as you make important decisions about your future in college, medical school, and beyond!

You will practice key skills and learn the basics of wound care and surgical techniques in workshops with the Apprentice Doctor group.  You will also scrub up and enter a realistic operating room using virtual reality (VR) technology.  Finally, you will hear from some of the most well-regarded and prominent leaders, educators and physicians in the medical community. 

This is a great chance for you to network with other talented students who share your interests and can contribute to like-minded conversations about your futures in medicine, and who will be your future colleagues. You'll acquire valuable information about which skills and educational components you need to be successful as a health care provider from professional medical personnel.
