    Overview

This early digital learners course offers middle school aged students the opportunity to learn personal audio and video documentary skills.

Emerging and engaged twenty first century learners will grow their knowledge of both how to tell and shape stories as well as the digital tools by which to do so. Students will spend their first week developing skills in audio story telling through the development of a 3–5-minute podcast. The second week, students will expand into the use of video story telling. Learning to leverage the recording power of their personal devices, students will learn the basics of Hindenburg and Premiere Pro, industry standard software, to produce their work as it is never too early to start learning a craft that can launch a career! Your excited student will be showing their new skills in class projects next fall!
