DOROT's summer teen internship in Manhattan gives teens a fantastic opportunity to give back to the New York community.

Open to all high school students who identify as Jewish, this program allows students to develop communal connection through volunteer work. They will explore social justice through weekly discussion groups that celebrate diverse perspectives. They will also lead intergenerational classes with home-based seniors to talk about the Jewish perspective of current events. During this program, students will work towards creating a documentary film. They will learn the fundamentals of film production from experienced professionals and create this documentary based off of interviews with senior Jewish citizens.
