The Cooper Union School of Engineering's Summer STEM Program provides an opportunity for 9th through 10th grade students explore, design, engineering and research in a college setting. Classes are inspired by current student and faculty research and first and second year class projects, including digital design, robotics, sustainability, and data science. Collaboration and communication are emphasized; students work on teams to complete and present a project.

3 Weeks In-Person: Computer-Aided Drug Design Biomaterials Design Next- Gen Construction Materials
Programs for current 10th and 11th graders
4 Weeks Virtual program: Intro to Machine Learning for students with precalculus or calculus
6 Weeks In-Person program: Data for New York Design and Drawing for Engineering MakerXR! Racecar Research Robotics Crash Course for students with coding experience

Students who attend the program and successfully complete the assignments will receive a certificate of completion from The Cooper Union.
3 and 4 week programs cost $1850.
6 week programs cost $3850.
Full and partial fee waivers are available for low and middle income students.
