    Overview

Taste the bold, savory flavors of Taiwanese cuisine as you craft your own menu inspired by Taipei.

In Taipei, one of Asia’s most exciting culinary capitals, you’ll dive into the bold and flavorful world of Taiwanese cooking. Prepare iconic dishes like beef noodle soup, xiao long bao (soup dumplings), and mango shaved ice while discovering the stories and traditions behind every recipe. From sizzling night market snacks to beloved home-cooked classics, explore how Taiwan’s rich food culture blends time-honored flavors with modern twists.

Daily cooking classes will build your skills and creativity. Learn insider techniques from chefs, team up with friends for culinary challenges, and enjoy the fun of cooking and eating together. By the end of the program, you’ll design and present your own menu inspired by everything you’ve learned.

Beyond the kitchen, immerse yourself in Taipei’s young, urban energy. Discover Taiwan’s achievements in business, architecture, and sustainability. Learn how global industries like AI, engineering, and international relations connect to your future. Tackle real-world issues like food waste and carbon footprints. Hunt for unique ingredients at traditional markets, explore Buddhist and Taoist temples, and enjoy tea tasting. You’ll also tour outside the city to places like Jiufen, a mountaintop village steeped in history, and Tainan, Taiwan’s first and oldest city.
