    Overview

Rocketry camp will be covering several topics that align with the national science standards and it contains multiple hands-on activities.

Rocketry camp will focus on designing, building and launching several types of rockets. During the camp, students will learn the technical details of rocket building and they will design multiple rockets that will be launched at the end of the week. Launch day is pretty exciting! We will visit the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL to see replicas of the rockets used by the United States for the purposes of space travel. Or, we will visit the TELLUS science museum to see some examples of mechanical innovation exhibits they have on display. While we are there, we will see the planetarium movie that features rockets and space travel.

This camp is challenging while being fun all at the same time!
