    Overview

The Boston Model UN Academy is a summer Model UN camp hosted at Lasell University in Newton, MA -founded upon the mission of enabling students to explore world affairs and Model UN. 6-9th grade students are eligible for our program, and we place students with various levels of Model UN experience into our three classes. Students learn from expert instructors in small cohorts—limited to ten students per instructor. Excellent catered lunch is included.

The Boston Model UN Academy was established by Jack Botein, a rising first-year student at Harvard College with a passion for Model United Nations and international affairs. Our instructors—Jack, Patrick, and Alice—worked together as co-presidents of the Model UN club at The Beaver Country Day School. They have accumulated more than 20 awards at nationwide Model UN competitions and have jointly instructed weekly Model UN classes to students at Beaver for the last two years.
