    Overview

Since 1963, the Hebrew Academy for Special Children has continued to provide high quality education and therapeutic services to children with special needs. Highly structured and individualized, our programs concentrate on the development of the whole child in the least restrictive environment.

Multi disciplinary professionals, working together, consistently evaluate the progress of each student and jointly define their goals and expectations of each child. Our staff is trained in the latest clinical techniques, providing highly individualized care. Parents and guardians are integral members of this process and are involved in many aspects of the students daily progress.

The HASC staff is committed to excellence and demonstrates their dedication in many ways. At HASC, children and families are seen and treated as unique and special individuals. The staff are constantly challenged to address the needs of their students by using curricula and techniques unique to the field of special education. HASC provides an exciting learning environment for children, families and staff. Innovation, creativity and motivation are the hallmarks of a HASC staff member. We are proud of our programs and are pleased to share our knowledge and experience. Please call any of our sites to arrange a tour of our facilities.
