    Overview

    Experience continuing development opportunities at Point Park University! All spring community classes are open to the public and occur remotely. Offerings include workshops, pre-professional dance and private lessons in voice, piano, drumming & dance! Affordable programs will begin in early February and require registration. 

    Pre-Professional Dance

    (Open only to high school students and college undergraduates)

    Pre-Professional Dance training is offered to gifted students who want to jump start their career as a professional dancer or musical theater performer. Students must be at an intermediate level to participate. Classes will be focused styles such as ballet, jazz, modern, and barre.

    For the Jazz class, students may focus on contemporary/lyrical work, musical theater, commercial, and LA style jazz/hiphop. They will also go through practice auditions, review headshots, review resumes, and discuss personal branding and marketing.

    Non-Credit Community Classes

    (Ages 14+)

    Non-credit community classes are open to students and adults. Students receive professional training at an extremely affordable price.

    Classes can include: podcasting, dance fitness, smartphone filmmaking, and creative writing. Please review the eligibility of each program prior to registering.

    Private Lessons

    (Open to all ages)We are so glad you're here! Congrats on staying true to yourself and continuing to develop your visions during these unqiue circumstances. To ensure our community remains safe, all Spring 2021 lessons will be virtual for the semester. Online lessons can start as early as the week of February 1 and are offered based on instructor availability.
