The Engineering Solutions for Cardiovascular Diseases program is perfect for students eager to learn more about the STEM field.
This course will be taking place over the course of two weeks via Zoom. Students can expect lectures and group breakout sections. They will work alone and with small groups. Instructors will teach the formation of blood clots, blood vessel geometry, and turbulence. Through interactive lessons, students will explore the cardiovascular system and learn how scientists have devised new ways to study it. They'll also work with AutoCAD software in order to better understand computational models of healthy vs diseased blood vessels. By the end of this program, students will feel better prepared to tackle biomedical research.
