DIME Detroit is a music institute like no other – custom built for serious musicians who desire a long-term, professional career in modern music. The courses are designed to build strong musical foundations, which allow students to seize opportunities for long and sustained careers in the music industry.
Located in the heart of downtown Detroit, DIME offers innovative degree programs through a partnership with Metropolitan State University of Denver. Students can earn their degree Commercial Music Performance (guitar, bass, drums, or vocals), Commercial Songwriting, or Music Industry Studies.
DIME's students learn from industry-professional faculty, and are exposed to a broad spectrum of musical styles and genres, not just jazz and classical. We offer weekly masterclasses at our on-site music venue with major-label artists and industry executives, exposing DIME students to the wider music industry and helping them make the connections they need to achieve their goals and career aspirations.
