Spend 4, 7 or 10 weeks volunteering in Costa Rica with Raleigh International. Raleigh works to preserve this biodiversity, increase the resilience of local communities to climate change and improve access to education. We'll guide you through the adventure of a lifetime!
Costa Rica is one of the 20 most biodiverse countries in the world. It is home to 26 National Parks and is known for its beaches, volcanoes and biodiversity. Approximately a quarter of Costa Rica is made up of protected jungle. More than 500,000 species are found here, representing 4% of the total species estimated worldwide, despite the country being only 0.03% of the world’s landmass.
You could be part of three exciting and impactful projects:
Imagine a world where everyone has access to clean water, sanitation and basic hygiene services. Where everyone, even the most marginalised have accessto education. You can play your part in making this a reality.
Work with the local community to improve access to education for indigenous communities by developing the local infrastructure.
We don’t need to tell you that the world is facing unprecedented environmental challenges. Our environmental projects make small steps toward long term impact.
Help conserve Costa Rica’s biodiversity and improve access to national parks.
