"Forging extraordinary men who influence their world for Christ." The Air Land Emergency Resource Team is a gap program that trains Christian young men in maturity, integrity, leadership, and endurance. ALERT's one-of-a-kind approach combines training and service to equip you to meet the needs of people in crisis.
Three phases of training build teamwork, individual responsibility and character.
Phase I: ALERT Basic Training infuses the most rigorous physical elements of a traditional military boot camp with an intensely Christ-focused motivation. Basic will strengthen your body, fortify your mind, and transform your heart, to prepare you for a lifetime of service to the Lord.
Phase II: Emergency Response Training introduces men to a comprehensive set of crisis response skills, including high-angle rescue, Scuba, firefighting and more, while maintaining the spiritual accountability that every man needs.
Phase III: In Advanced Training, students receive best-in-class training and certifications in the venue of their choice, selecting from a wide range of fields:
Basic Training Cadre
EMT - Basic
EMT - Paramedic
Leadership and Management
Property and Facility Care
Throughout Phases II and III, ALERT Responders are available for deployment to disaster-stricken areas such as those affected by hurricanes, tornadoes and floods. ALERT’s motto is “Strong To Serve," and since our inception in 1994, ALERT has responded to over 700 requests for service.
ALERT's 2250-acre campus is located two hours east of Dallas, TX, near the town of Big Sandy.
