Global Citizens Network

Africa, Asia, Canada, Latin America, United States

Overview

Founded in 1992, Global Citizens Network connects the globally-minded (and the adventurous) with indigenous communities worldwide.

Global Citizens Network works to promote peace, justice and respect through cross-cultural understanding and global cooperation. We are committed to enhancing quality of life around the world while preserving indigenous cultures, traditions and ecologies.

Join us; volunteer around the world. Work side-by-side and build relationships with members of our indigenous partner communities in the U.S. and abroad. GCN is a 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States. Participate in community development projects driven by the community.

Global Citizens Network provides international and domestic experiential learning programs for students in high school and college. Our trips offer authentic, cross-cultural immersion and shared work projects with people of diverse cultures in the global North and South.

GCN partners with high schools, colleges, universities, community colleges and student-run-organizations to organize 10-21 day programs in which students have the opportunity to immerse themselves with one of our partner communities.
