Teen Service Learning (opportunities for ages 13-18)- Bachman Lake Branch

Dallas, TX

Mission Statement

Join us by yourself or with your friends for a fun way to earn your community service hours!

This is a program intended to support teens who are tasked with earning community service hours for school or other organizations. An alternative to traditional solo volunteering, teen service learning is group based. Teens learn about the library and their community, and also learn leadership and other soft skills that allow them to better serve their community. The teens work on projects and hours for those projects are not only completed in the library but around the community as well. We would love to have you and your friends join us! We offer the sessions at the Bachman Lake Branch (9480 Webb Chapel Road) on Saturday’s from 1pm-3pm, with some exceptions to account for holidays.
