SquashDrive is an after school enrichment program serving Oakland youth. Our mission is to promote academic, athletic, and personal growth through a program of squash instruction, individual academic support/tutoring, health and fitness instruction, and community service.
Team members participate in SquashDrive activities three hours a day, three days a week throughout the school year. The squash program consists of on-court instruction and practices at Berkeley and Club One in downtown Oakland in addition to team matches and fitness training.
The SquashDrive academic program focuses on individualized homework help and academic enrichment. The SquashDrive community service program is still being developed. The program will provide our students the opportunity to build community pride and involvement through a range of volunteer outings. Each SquashDrive team member will participate in a minimum of fifteen hours of community service per year.
