The Sing for Hope Youth Corps, part of a network of NYC Youth Leadership Councils, will motivate teenage musicians & artists to use the power of the arts for good. We need YOU to shape the projects other teens can work on & bring your creative ideas for spreading the word.
Sing for Hope Youth Corps relies on YOUR ideas! Work with other teens and Sing for Hope's incredible artists to create a movement that gives other teens the chance to use their artform to give back! You will be part of a citywide network of Youth Leadership Councils working to make youth voices heard in NYC.
Youth Corps is a year-long opportunity (September 2017 through June 2018) with the opportunity to re-enroll in following years. Youth Corps will meet monthly in midtown on Saturdays from 10-noon, with additional opportunities to serve.
As a member of the Sing for Hope Youth Corps, you will develop skills in leadership and college and career readiness. You will plan events that inspire passionate teens like you to give back, and help bring the power of the arts to those in need. You will make the youth voice heard at Sing for Hope and in the arts world, and you will build a social network with other youth from around the city.
