DOROT’s GENuine Connections creates a free online space for adults (65+) and teens to build generational community over 4 weeks of workshops on Zoom.

Engage in meaningful conversation and creative activities within small, consistent groups, leading to the discovery of new perspectives and joy. (All participants must commit to the entire workshop series. This is how we build community with authentic, positive connections.)

Participants come together in virtual program series that include activities such as: story telling, brain games, theater workshops, current events discussion groups, and more! Participants can also participate in shared affinity cohorts around issues such as cultural background, foreign language, or other affiliations.

Teens will earn high school community service hours for their participation.

No previous experience is necessary, however, you must attend an intern orientation before the semester begins.
