The Contemporary Jewish Museum presents exhibitions and programs that explore Jewish art, culture, history, and ideas. In a dynamic setting and from a diversity of perspectives, the Museum inspires artistic excellence, learning, and scholarship.
If you are looking to give something back to the community on Christmas Day, the Contemporary Jewish Museum is looking for volunteers to join the excitement on our Community Day.
The CJM's Community Day is an admission-free fun-for-all extravaganza. It is our busiest day of the year, and volunteers are vital to the success of the day. Families can explore the galleries, make a bird in our art studio, and enjoy the music of The Pop-Ups with two performances and a "Meet the Puppets" workshop.
Volunteers can help in a variety of ways:
-Assisting with performances and art workshops
-Greeting visitors and families
-Supporting coat check in visitor services
-Orienting visitors to areas of activity
-Staffing our family resource table
-Ushering for performances
