The Boston Rescue Mission aids the homeless and poor of Greater Boston to self-sufficiency by assisting women and men in confronting and overcoming the root causes of their homelessness. To this end, the Mission provides basic life necessities such as food and shelter as well as social service programs.
The Boston Rescue Mission welcomes more than 4,000 volunteers annually. Each volunteer who comes through our doors can make a difference with many exciting opportunities to choose from.
We have dedicated a page of opportunities for both Individuals and Groups. Please review the volunteer calendar for opportunities, fill out our volunteer application, and submit it to email@example.com.
We do ask that individuals be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or an adult supervisor.
If you are interested in joining the Boston Rescue Mission family as a volunteer please fill out one of our applications. Feel free to download a more extensive list of guidelines for volunteering in our volunteer handbook.
