University of Calgary was recently ranked as the number one university under fifty years of age in North America. Our 526-acre campus, which is situated within an hour of the world-famous Rocky Mountains, is home to 14 faculties, 53 departments, and more than 200 academic programs.

The University of Calgary (1966) was recently ranked as the number one university under fifty years of age in North America by QS World University Rankings where we have also been ranked the top university in Canada for the past four years. Our 526-acre campus, which is situated within an hour of the world-famous Rocky Mountains, is home to 14 faculties, 53 departments, and more than 200 academic programs. Our hometown was recently named the fifth most livable city in the world by The Economist; Calgary’s population includes over 300,000 people born outside of Canada. Admission to the University of Calgary will be based on a student’s performance in five senior-level subjects. We welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds. Students are encouraged to fill out the separate awards application once they’ve applied to their program at the University of Calgary. We’re also proud to offer a multi-year residence guarantee to high school applicants.
