    Overview

Whether you are enrolling in college classes for the very first time, picking up some coursework to retool your skills, filling a gap in your college education, or just wanting to learn something new for the fun of it, Illinois Central College can meet your needs.

ICC has six degree options and more than 70 options in growing occupations, including nursing, elementary education, heating-ventilation-air conditioning, engineering, culinary arts, accounting, theatre, web design, and more. Depending on the program you choose, a degree from ICC can stage the way for your transfer to a four-year school, take you right into a new career, and enrich your life.

The ICC district covers 2,322 square miles and serves 44 high schools. In any given semester, the college offers more than 1,500 classes. The ICC Educational Foundation awards roughly $350,000 in scholarships annually, and the college itself provides nearly $1 million in tuition waivers. Since the beginning, ICC has touched more than 400,000 lives. Of the 48 community colleges statewide, ICC ranks eighth in the state for number of students served. Forty-three percent of the people in our area who are going to college come to ICC. Every year we award nearly 1,500 certificates and degrees. With each degree or certificate we confer we create a small ripple of change for the better in our world. As our mission says, Through learning, minds change. We believe by changing minds, we can change the world. In-district residents pay $3,450 in tuition and fees per academic year.
