    Overview

FMCC strives to be recognized as a model community college that offers quality education, excellence in student support, innovative approaches, and programs that reflect our values.

Located on 195 acres in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains between Albany and Utica, NY, Fulton-Montgomery Community College (SUNY), is a comprehensive institution serving approximately 2,800 students per year in credit programs. FMCCs diverse student body brings together students from Fulton, Montgomery, and adjacent counties as well as Metropolitan New York City and twenty countries on five continents. Students have the opportunity to choose from more than 40 quality degree and certificate programs. Certificate and Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree programs prepare graduates for employment, while Associate of Arts (A.A) and Associate of Science (A.S.) degree programs are designed to ready students for transfer to four-year programs. FM works closely with SUNY and private colleges and universities to ensure widely-accepted transferability. FM offers excellent academic programs, personalized guidance, and extensive resources to support student success. Small class sizes mean individual attention and the opportunity to know your professors and fellow students. Online and blended classes make getting an education more convenient than ever before: learning that fits you.
