Windsurfing Summer Programs
Middle and high school students of all ages and skill levels can participate in the dynamic sport of windsurfing during a summer program hosted in the United States or abroad. Participants can travel to California, Maine, Hawaii or other coastal locations to learn to windsurf and explore wildlife, study ecology, conservation and marine biology. They can also play games in between wind surf time slots and bond with peers. Some programs are focused solely on windsurfing, while others wrap in more educational opportunities and activities such as hiking, rafting and camping. Enrolling in day or overnight Windsurfing Summer Programs allows boys and girls to build their abilities such as windsurfing stance, uphaul, equipment care, tack to return to shore, steering, landing, self-rescue, points of sale, basic sailing and safety standards. Students can enjoy windsurfing while commuting to sessions or staying overnight in cabins, hotels or home stays.
