Water Polo Summer Programs

Individual players and teams can attend Water Polo Summer Programs during the day or for extended residential sessions to boost their technical skills and teamwork. Top college athletic programs and water polo camps host pre-college students from beginner to advanced skill levels. Participants learn basic techniques such as swimming, treading water, shooting, passing and dribbling. Fitness abilities like endurance, strength, coordination and agility are also stressed. Clinics featuring drills, strategy lessons, scrimmages and competitive play are run by college coaches and experienced instructors. Programs focused on this contact sport are coed or separated by gender. Coaches can also instill more advanced skills such as team tactics in front court, 6 on 5 play, and counter attack tactics.
