Traditional Camp Summer Programs
Long a highlight of summer for boys and girls (and their parents), Traditional Camp Summer Programs offer something for everyone. Nearly any category of fun can be found in these camps, from arts and crafts to sports to outdoor adventure. These programs come as both day camps and overnight camps, and are often hosted in wooded or forested locations, near lakes and ponds that provide many different kinds of outdoor activities. Counselor-In-Training programs are often a part of traditional camps, allowing participants to age through the camp and build their leadership skills as they supervise younger campers. The camps are often coed, but sometimes specific to gender, such as Boy Scouts and Girls Scout programs. Participants can enjoy a diversity of activities, including swimming, hiking, camping, rock climbing, boating, tennis, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, biking, archery, horseback riding, painting, ceramics, theatre, woodshop and much more. Experienced and safety certified instructors and camp counselors supervise participants and guide them through activities and social bonding.
