Mentoring Summer Programs
Mentoring Summer Programs provide pre-college students the support they need to tackle academic and social challenges. Middle and high school students learn communication, interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills. These programs are hosted by colleges, camps and non-profit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs. Some summer programs help students develop their own mentoring abilities, pairing them with peers or younger boys or girls who need guidance and support. These types of programs help students stay engaged in school, maintain a positive attitude and give them a better chance of success in college and professional life.
