Martial Arts Summer Programs
There are many forms of martial arts and many ways that middle and high school students can participate by enrolling in Martial Arts Summer Programs. These systems of combat are practiced for self-defense, military and law enforcement, fitness and recreation. The programs teach students discipline, confidence and respect while also exposing them to a variety of martial arts forms. Some programs focus on an individual type of martial art, while otherwise teach a range, such as karate, jujitsu, aikido, judo, kung fu and krav maga. Many programs are coed and commuter-based and sometimes features other athletic activities such as boxing or gymnastics. Martial Arts Summer Programs strengthen the body and enhance the mind through rigorous training and mental discipline.
