Comedy Summer Programs
Students who live for a chuckle, guffaw or deep belly laugh will feel like home at a summer comedy program. But these programs are also for any students seeking to enhance their interpersonal, writing or performance skills. Held for middle and high school grades, Comedy Summer Programs are designed to give students a chance to learn more about themselves and how they interact with funny. In addition to learning the basics like writing jokes and storytelling, the programs teach performance styles such as clowning, improvisational and sketch comedy, stand-up, and prop comedy. Irony, farce, impressions and pranks flow as students build toward futures in comedy, theater, movies, television, or any profession where getting a giggle goes a long way toward social connection.
