Summer programs for middle and high school students interested in graphic design teach traditional skills, such as magazine layout, as well as the latest design techniques for the web and video games. Programs range from one week to more than a month, and some offer college credit. Graphic design summer programs are available on campuses across the United States as well as overseas. A summer program is a great way to work on a graphic design portfolio as well as pick up new skills.
