The road to recovery from an eating disorder and other psychiatric disorders often has twists, turns, and unexpected detours. Our professional and compassionate staff has helped thousands of individuals engage in treatment and regain their lives.
Walden Behavioral Care provides a full continuum of care for adolescents and teens 12-17 years of age with eating disorders, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. To determine which level of care meets the adolescents current medical and emotional needs, an initial clinical assessment is performed. After the assessment is completed, patients are referred to the appropriate level of care and assigned a treatment team including a case manager, nurse and physician. This team of experts designs a comprehensive treatment plan to meet the adolescents medical, nutritional, behavioral and psychiatric needs. Throughout treatment, patients are continuously monitored and treatment is adjusted as needed. While many patients advance through the continuum and onto full recovery, some patients will need to move from a lower level of care to a higher level of care to accommodate their current needs.
