Top-ranked McLean Hospital specializes in teaching children, adolescents, and young adults the skills required to lead stable, rewarding lives. Treatment programs include depression and anxiety (including OCD) as well as bipolar, eating, and borderline personality disorder..
We are excited to introduce you to two such programs, each with a unique focus on specific clinical conditions. The McLean Anxiety Mastery Program offers intensive group-based outpatient therapy for children and adolescents, ages 9 to 18, suffering from anxiety and/or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on exposure work, the program was developed to address the need for intensive, research-based treatment for youth with social anxiety, separation anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobias, agoraphobia, and obsessions and compulsions. Children and adolescents participate in the program four afternoons per week, after school (for a minimum of four weeks), to enable more rapid treatment progress while allowing youth to stay in school. If you have questions about the program or to make a referral, please call 617.674.5333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The McLean 3East Partial Hospital Program is a four-week, coeducational, DBT treatment program for individuals ages 13 to early 20s with symptoms of self-injury, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, as well as eating, substance use and post-traumatic stress disorders. Participants benefit from on-going treatment and support from a highly skilled treatment team. The program is designed for adolescents who are prepared and motivated to learn and practice DBT skills to manage their symptoms and improve their level of functioning in the community. The partial hospital program operates from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 9 am to 2 pm, Friday and is open year-round. For referrals or to learn more about the program please contact Sarah Hunt, admissions coordinator at 844.425.8964 or email email@example.com.
