Project Patch has been partnering with parents since 1984 to help teens with behavior problems. Parents trust our licensed and accredited Youth Ranch in the mountains of Idaho as a therapeutic place for their teen to gain the insight, skills and motivation to live a positive life.
Parents bring their teens to our program when they can't seem them safe at home. Our staff is comprised of dedicated staff members, including therapists who hold Masters Degrees in Counseling or a related field. We have a maximum ratio of 1 staff per 8 clients but typically operate at 1:5 providing kids with much needed coaching, redirection and the therapeutic care they need.
Program components include our AdvancED eccredited school, group and individual therapy, recreation, work and spiritual growth. We use Dialeticatal Behavior Therapy (DBT) as our primary therapeutic model. Family work is integrated with parent visits, parent weekends and home leaves.
Our campus is located on 170 acres in the mountains of Southern Idaho which provides a tranquil and safe environment. We operate a licensed and accredited therapeutic residential treatment program which houses up to 36 residents at a time. We work with both genders separately; ages 12 to 17 (must place prior to 17th birthday).
