PRN for Families provides intensive, in-home crisis intervention, family assessment, comprehensive planning, follow up, counseling and life-skills for families who have children or teenagers who are out of control or at imminent risk of being separated from their family.
Family preservation and reunification services are designed to support families in crisis in which children are either at imminent risk of placement or have been placed outside their homes. These services are meant for all families and are effective as reunification services as well as for placement prevention. The goal is to keep children safe and avoid both unnecessary removal and unnecessarily long separation from family in out-of-home care. Intensive in-home family preservation services are the most cost-effective way to preserve families according to the National Family Preservation Network.
Our process begins with an initial consultation pre-assessment (Admissions), and is then followed by a Family Assessment Phase, an Intervention Phase, and followed by the Resolution Phase. The intervention phase of the program is marked by intensive delivery of services to the family in their own home and the development of a comprehensive family plan. The frequency, length and intensity of these services are customized based on the Family Assessment and specific goals, objectives and desired outcomes.
