Residential and outpatient care to help teen boys and girls rebuild self-esteem and chart a path toward recovery.
Located in Dallas, Phoenix House's Hill A. Feinberg Center serves male and female teens ages 13 to 17 who struggle with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues. Treatment for clients in residential care includes individual, group, and family counseling as well as evidence-based practices that match solutions to each individual's treatment needs. Patients can take part in a Dallas Independent School District credit recovery program. Treatment effectiveness is enhanced by physical evaluation, case management, life skills education, pre-vocational and relapse prevention training, gender specific groups, and aftercare services. In addition to the residential program, we offer after-school outpatient services for adolescents in the early stages of substance use disorders or transitioning out of residential treatment. Our programs help teens rebuild self-esteem, control anger, and decrease impulsivity.
