The Adolescent Residential Center serves teen girls and boys ages 13-18 in gender-separate programs where patients learn to rediscover their strength and live life free from addiction.
The Adolescent Residential Center's master's level clinicians use a cognitive-behavioral, 12-step approach to help patients understand the consequences of their substance use, develop their own recovery resources and use those tools in their daily lives. Family involvement is strongly encouraged to facilitate the healing of relationships. Our addiction counselors, as well as our medical and psychiatric staff address a wide range of substance use and mental health problems, in addition to providing medication management as needed. We are in network with most insurance plans and accept Virginia Medicaid.
