Overview

PaRC's award-winning teen drug rehab program is the leading treatment and therapeutic program in Houston. Our hands-on inpatient and outpatient treatment programs offer boys & girls age 13-17 confidential, effective treatment.

Memorial Hermann is the largest non-for-profit hospital system in Texas and the tenth largest in the United States. The system includes 13 acute care hospitals, many outpatient and specialty clinics, and one alcohol and drug treatment center named Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC). PaRC is Houston's premier drug and alcohol rehab center for adults, young adults, and teens. The main campus offers both inpatient and outpatient therapeutic programs.  PaRC brings its award-winning experience and depth of expertise to the forefront of alcohol and drug treatment. Incorporating the newest medical approaches along with proven treatment models and methodologies, our clinical team and the entire staff are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care experiences. Our goal is to improve the behavioral health of individuals and families in the community by assisting all persons adversely affected by alcohol and substance abuse onto the path of recovery and long-term sobriety.

The PaRC offers all levels of care for the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction. Services include detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, aftercare, family support, and an alumni association. The drug addiction staff at PaRC includes medical directors certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a dedicated team of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, licensed chemical dependency counselors, therapists, and other licensed professionals.

It is not always easy to tell if someone needs drug rehab or alcohol treatment. People who have problems with drugs or alcohol all have different patterns of use. The common thread, though, is that addicted people cannot stop on their own. Drug rehab and alcohol treatment at PaRC can help. We have over 30 years of experience treating such clients. PaRC's award-winning programs are based on treatment methods proven to increase sobriety rates

PaRC’s effective teen drug rehab center offers an intensive therapeutic program tailored specifically for teens. Our 12-step based program for teens is nationally recognized and highly respected in the community. Teens receive individual attention, and a client’s family receives the education, treatment, and guidance they need to support their loved one in sobriety. Levels of care available in PaRC's teen rehab include medical detoxification, residential treatment, partial-day rehab, and an intensive outpatient program. The first step for admission into the adolescent program is a thorough assessment with our experienced Admissions team. The assessment will ensure the child is admitted to the most effective level of care. Once the teen is admitted, an individualized treatment plan is designed. Length of stay is typically 30 to 45 days, but the time may vary depending upon individualized goals and treatment progress. Teens continue their education in PaRC’s University of Texas Charter School (an onsite high school where students can recover lost school credits and continue with their current curriculum). Additional program components include individual, family and group counseling, chemical dependency education, alternative peer group involvement, equine therapy, art therapy, and community involvement.

Dual-diagnosis, insurance & private pay are accepted.
