Center for Talent Development's online program, Gifted LearningLinks (GLL), offers engaging enrichment, core essentials, honors, and AP® courses for gifted and talented students. GLL courses provide rigorous, individualized instruction helping gifted students to achieve their educational goals.
Eligible home schooled, elementary, middle or high school students can accelerate and broaden their knowledge base any time and any place. Choose from a variety of online programs listed below.
Online Core Essentials (9 weeks)
Online Core Essentials courses at the Center for Talent Development (CTD) allow students in grades 3 through 8 to master essential subject-area content that goes above and beyond what is traditionally offered at their grade levels.
Online Enrichment (9 weeks)
Center for Talent Development’s (CTD) Online Enrichment courses allow gifted and advanced students in grades 3 through 10 to explore interesting and exciting topics beyond the core curriculum typically provided by schools. In addition to providing an in-depth introduction to the topic of each course, course activities are designed to cultivate higher-level thinking and creative problem solving skills.
Online Honors Electives (18 weeks)
The Center for Talent Development's (CTD) Online Program offers high school-level Online Honors Electives courses, which provide gifted students in grades 6 - 12 with opportunities to study fascinating topics through challenging courses rarely available in traditional schools. Online Honors Electives students explore specialized topics in science, social studies, mathematics, technology, and the humanities in depth.
Accelerated Summer Option (ASO) (9 weeks)
The Accelerated Summer Option (ASO) offers students the opportunity to take a select number of Honors Elective, Honors, and Advanced Placement (AP®) courses in nine weeks. ASO courses can be an excellent fit for highly motivated students seeking opportunities for summer online academic acceleration, or the chance to take a desired course outside the limits of the traditional school calendar.
Online Advanced Placement (AP®) (18 or 36 weeks)
The Center for Talent Development's (CTD) Online Program offers Advanced Placement (AP®) courses in English & writing, humanities & social sciences, foreign languages, science, mathematics, and technology. AP® online courses provide students in grades 9 through 12 with a variety of options to develop critical thinking skills and analytical prowess. Online AP® courses are authorized by the College Board and aligned to official AP® course frameworks.
