Taking a Gap Year?
Want to Travel for Free and Help End Child Trafficking?
This September through December,
Minga’s Let’s Get Real road trip speaking tour will reach out to youth across
the country to raise awareness about the child sex trade. In 25 cities across America, you can help us
reach out to 20,000 youth through multimedia, interactive presentations! Our peer-to-peer
approach has proven effective in hundreds of classrooms and to thousands of students
across the United States.
Please consider joining Minga as a gap year intern for the Let’s
Get Real Road Trip from September to December 2010 and help Minga mobilize
students across the U.S. to join the fight against the child sex trade.
To learn more about the Minga Road Trip Internship as well
as other Minga internships in Boston please contact Katie@mingagroup.org or call

*** Minga is a youth-run non-profit
dedicated to ending child sex trafficking through education and
empowerment. In Quechua, an
indigenous language of South America, "minga” means, "the coming together of
community for the betterment of all.” Two million children are affected by the child sex trade around the
globe every year and 325,000 children in the United States are at extremely
high risk. The average age of entry into prostitution in the United States is
13 years old, and yet the average thirteen year old does not even know that
this pandemic exists. Very few United States citizens are aware of how
prevalent the child sex trade is, especially in their own backyards.
Will you join us in the fight
against child exploitation?
