Looking for something fun to do this holiday season? Boston is home to a variety of events that are sure to get you into the holiday spirit. Experience holiday magic with the annual tradition of Boston Ballet’s "The Nutcracker” happening now through December 27th at the Opera House, and starring Boston Ballet company dancers and students of Boston Ballet School.
If you’re looking to spice up your "Nutcracker” experience this year, check out BalletRox’s "Urban Nutcracker,” running now through December 20th at John Hancock Hall in Boston. It sets the classic holiday tale in contemporary Boston and incorporates ballet, tap, hip-hop, and swing dance to create a modern take on the story. BalletRox is a non-profit organization dedicated to using the power of dance to break down racial barriers and enhance the Boston community. Proceeds from "Urban Nutcracker” go towards BalletRox’s scholarship program.
Whether it’s your first time or you’re an old-pro, ice skating at Frog Pond is guaranteed to be lots of fun.
