During the academic year, Diablo Glass School offers after school teen programs and home school teen programs for students aged 12-18 that run for twelve weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:15 to 6:15 PM. Students may apply to their high schools to receive academic credit. Students may sign up at any time during the school year; no deadlines are enforced. Classes offer students a a peek at three techniques of glass work at different skill levels.

Now: Do you need funding to make your school more eco-friendly? We want to
help. Show us you have what it takes to shrink your school's carbon
footprint. Plan and execute student-led green projects and you could
win up to $1500 to support your work. Last year, over 500 schools
participated in Increase Your Green - so start planning! Applications due October 13th, 2009.
Oct.-December: Cradles to Crayons is Gearing up for Winter and we need your help! Last
year we recieved 7,500 orders for winter clothing. We expect the need
to increase by 40% this year. Help area children in low income and
homeless situations stay safe and warm this winter by hosting a drive
for cozy clothing. We are especially in need of pants for girls and
boys sizes: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 14/16 and 18/20. Set a goal and
challenge your school, youth group or neighborhood to reach it! Then
bring your donation to Cradles to Crayons.
