"Assisting with TeenLife Boston's annual Community Service Fair was definitely one of my favorite volunteering experiences in high school. In high school, there are so many different things that produce stress and it can be very difficult to cope with it all. Very quickly, it becomes apparent to all high school students that coping with stress is essential to an enjoyable experience. For me, volunteering is a great way to relieve excess stress. Ending a day with the knowledge that in some way you have made a difference in another person's life is one of the best and most rewarding feelings. Helping out also adds something different to the monotony of schoolwork, sleep, and hanging out with friends."
